- The Atatürk Cultural Centre reopened in 2021 after many years of reconstruction. Running alongside Taksim Square, the iconic site includes an opera hall, theatre and cinema, art gallery, a multi-purpose hall, children’s art centre, music venue and recording studio. It is also home to a library and information resources focusing on topics such as music, art, architecture and design.
- The Galataport İstanbul complex opened in 2021 and houses the finest works of modern art in Turkey, with the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art and Mimar Sinan University Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture located inside the Galataport premises.
- Tersane İstanbul houses the Sadberk Hanım Museum, one of the most important and oldest museums in İstanbul and a new centre for culture and art in the city. Contemporary İstanbul, the largest international art fair in Turkey, also takes place at Tersane İstanbul.
- Opened in January 2023, The Rami Library is the largest library complex in Europe, offering a collection of millions of volumes as well as special libraries and common areas catering to readers of all ages. It is set in renovated Ottoman-era Rami Barracks, dating from the mid-18th century.
