Global Fellowship – Pilot Programme
We’re delighted to announce a new global fellowship programme co-founded with Dubai Culture & Arts Authority. The Global Fellowship will be an international leadership programme launching later in 2026, offered exclusively to our partner cities.
The Global Fellowship will grow civic leadership and support future generations of cultural policy leaders who are responsible for managing complex projects, networks and cultural ecosystems.
Effective city leaders understand that cultural policy is at the heart of thriving cities. We believe culture is a golden thread, supporting our communities, health and wellbeing, attracting tourists and boosting economies. Despite this critical role, there is no formal training or route for culture city leaders -they learn on the job. This means there is no pipeline for the next generation. To fill this gap, this fellowship will strengthen the global talent pipeline.
The first of its kind, the Global Fellowship will launch with a pilot cohort of fellows in 2026–27. This is an important legacy from the Dubai 2024 World Cities Culture Summit and affirms the shared commitment to future generations of culture city leaders.
We’re hiring a Global Fellowship Manager
We’re recruiting for a Global Fellowship Manager to join our London-based team and manage the international fellowship programme within a collaborative team, working with global cities, cultural leaders and partners from six continents.
The Global Fellowship will grow civic leadership and support future generations of cultural policy leaders who are responsible for managing complex projects, networks and cultural ecosystems. You’ll manage this pioneering programme and be instrumental in shaping the future of global cultural leadership as part of our small and dedicated team.
