• In 2021 the city launched the Al Fahidi Fort rehabilitation project, which is a joint effort between Dubai Culture, Dubai Municipality, and the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai and seeks to preserve the emirate’s rich history and heritage as well as to situate the district as a vibrant cultural hub for visitors.  

• The Shindagha Museum is widely known for its openness and progressive thinking, showcasing Dubai’s culture and traditions so residents and visitors can learn about the city’s fascinating past. The mission of the museum is to be an all-encompassing venue for people interested in Emirati culture and who want to get a deeper understanding of what it entails. It was created to be an informative and enjoyable centre of human interaction and understanding, one that will inspire this generation and those to come.
