Equitable Access
The City is increasingly decentralising its budgets and planning, to enable more equitable access to cultural resources, and promote a more decentralised cultural economy. Including bringing programmes and cultural infrastructure to the peripheries of the city, and supporting culture in the public realm.
Collaborative Approach
In São Paulo, culture is increasingly connected transversally to other key agendas, working collaboratively with programmes for human rights, technology and innovation, education and health.
Culture For Children
The City is committed to supporting cultural education for young children, and to engage children at a critical developmental stage with themes such as belonging, coexistence, gender, mental health and race.
