- [National Slavery Museum in Amsterdam: A Model for Cultural Reconciliation and Inclusive Cultural Policy](https://worldcitiescultureforum.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/city-project/amsterdam-dutch-national-slavery-museum.md) — The City of Amsterdam has played a leading role in initiating a new National Slavery Museum which is due to open in 2030. The EUR 115 million project – jointly funded by the City of Amsterdam and the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture & Science – aims to tell the whole Dutch slavery story, and involve grassroots communities to bring about reconciliation, social change, healing and recovery by facing, acknowledging and processing the past.
