- [Cultural Infrastructure: Warsaw’s award-winning new Museum of Modern Art ](https://worldcitiescultureforum.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/city-project/warsaw-museum-of-modern-art.md) — In October 2024, after nearly 20 years as a nomadic institution, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (MSN Warsaw) opened its first permanent home in the heart of the city, next to the Palace of Culture and Science. Designed by Thomas Phifer, the minimalist, light-filled building offers 4,500m² of exhibition space, a theatre, and public forums. Already drawing international acclaim and thousands of visitors, the museum is revitalising central Warsaw as a cultural hub and cementing the city’s status as a centre for contemporary art.
