The report was unique, showing both numbers about city culture and sharing a database of leading cities globally. It covers important topics like how cultural spaces are spread out, how people take part in culture, and the connection between culture, sustainability, and communities. It’s a useful guide for governments, businesses, and researchers in making decisions and planning strategies.

Recognising the need for more cultural research in China, they announced the launch of the Metropolitan Culture Audit Centre (MCAC). This new center aim was to become a high-quality think-tank and a platform for researchers, seeking support from different sectors for its growth. This effort aligns with the goals of the World Cities Culture Audit Shanghai Symposium, promoting collaboration and setting the stage for future achievements.
