
- Taipei Music Centre opened in 2020 as the country’s home for Chinese language pop music. It includes a concert hall which holds up to 5000 people, and a creative hub to cultivate local talent.
- Taipei Performing Arts Centre was completed in 2022 after a decade of construction. It includes three theatres, including two which merge into one space, and even before completion it hosted 1,600 performances in 2021.
- Taipei Fine Arts Museum is expanding and merging with the nearby Flower Expo Park.
- Taipei Music Hall and Library will be Taiwan’s first ‘smart building’ with two floors below, and nine floors above ground. As well as offering a multicultural events space, it will double library visitor to around 2 – 2.5 million each year.
